Zynergy Projects and Services Pvt Limited (ZPSPL) is a newly established company in Tamil Nadu, which intends to become a vertically integrated full service company in the solar energy industry. It will concentrate initially in southern India, and especially in the southern states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
ZPSPL is majority owned by Zynergy Capital, a Singapore based company. Zynergy Capital's directors and shareholders have complementary skills in the fields of engineering, project management together with trade and project finance, and have over one hundred years of collective experience.
ZPSPL intends to become a market leader in southern India over the next five years. It is a successful applicant for one of the projects awarded under the IREDA scheme, which is part of the National Solar Mission, referred to as the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM). It recently announced the successful completion of this 1 MW solar project.
In order to deploy the best available skills and to help it achieve its objectives, Zynergy has signed a number of technical co-operation or joint venture agreements with global market leaders in:
- Solar power plant management and operation – Gestamp of Spain who have developed some 3000 MW of solar power in the USA and Europe
- Solar power plant design and construction – Phoenix Solar of Germany
- Solar panel manufacture – PV World of Singapore
Zynergyis looking to leverage these globally renowned market leaders with our local knowledge to becoming a leading Indian solar player. Extensive government support plus the increasing cost of non-solar sources of power generation means that the opportunities for solar power generation in India are only going to increase. Zynergy's with its manufacturing, EPC and project development divisions along with its international partners mean it is extraordinarily positioned to take advantage of that solar opportunity.
